Kageyama mats are denser and more durable than traditionally tatami flooring and are specifically constructed to stand up to the rigors of martial arts training.  They offer cushioning and performance equivalent to syntenic wrestling mats and dojo flooring and are suitable for use in arts like Judo, Japanese Jujutsu, Akido, and Koryu Bujutsu.  Our mats combine traditional and modern materials, including tightly woven high grade natural igusa omote together with specialized stitching, a core of layered impact foam, and durable no-slip backing.
